Scrum
Scrum is part of the Agile Methodology. Scrum is a software development methodology that is used to develop software in a collaborative and iterative manner. Scrum is a framework for software development, and is a set of rules for the development of software.
Scrum Roles
- Product Owner: is responsible for the overall direction of the project. PO is the person who is responsible for the vision, goals, and direction of the project. PO filter out the product backlog and prioritize it. OP is the bridge between the customer and the development team.
- Scrum Master: is responsible for the daily scrum meetings and the daily stand-up.
- Development Team: are the people who are responsible for the actual development of the project.
Backlog
The backlog is all the requirements that the team needs to implement and are defined by the Product Owner. We use Jira to handle the internal tasks, see the Jira Workflow.
Sprint
The Sprint is a period of time where the team is working on the project. The Sprint is divided into Sprint Backlog and Sprint Goal. The Sprint Goal
are smalls objetives that need to be done in the end of the sprint and the Sprint Backlog
is the list of tasks that the team is working on. When every Sprint is finished, the team will move to the next Sprint make a new Release with all of the Pull Requests merged in the develop branch, foloow the Deployment & Releases Guide.
